Taylor Woodall, the visionary founder of Skyworx Drone Shows, launched the company in August 2019 with a mission to revolutionize the skies. Initially providing specialized drone services for the government and oil and gas sectors, Taylor quickly expanded Skyworx into one of the first five companies in the U.S. certified by the FAA to operate drone light shows.
Before founding Skyworx, Taylor built a distinguished career as a mechanical engineer, contributing his expertise to the RS-25 rocket engine — a core component of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) for deep space exploration. His engineering background fuels the innovation and precision that Skyworx brings to every performance.
With extensive international experience, Taylor has successfully orchestrated awe-inspiring drone shows across Australia, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the UK. Under his leadership, Skyworx continues to redefine what’s possible in the world of aerial storytelling, captivating audiences on a global scale.
Head of Design
Jesse Cordtz is a seasoned 3D animation artist, filmmaker, and creative visionary. After seven years managing the film studio and makerspace at Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP), he has re-entered the commercial production market with Skyworx Drone Shows.
From 2008 to 2016, Jesse led Hiero Entertainment, a full-service video production company specializing in 3D animation, visual effects, motion capture, and projection mapping. His dedication to pushing creative boundaries has earned him a reputation as a leader in the field.
Jesse also served as an Adjunct Professor at Boise State University, teaching 3D animation courses and mentoring aspiring creators. His filmmaking portfolio includes the independent feature Tangerine and Lolly and the Dalai Lama Children’s Day Event Documentary, capturing the Dalai Lama’s visit to Idaho. He has also produced and directed the educational children’s series Bits and Pieces and worked as a visual effects supervisor on The Forger alongside John Travolta and Christopher Plummer.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communications focused on film production and animation, Jesse’s passion for storytelling is evident in every project. At Skyworx Drone Shows, he applies his artistic expertise to create stunning, immersive drone experiences that captivate and inspire.
Head of Business Development
Scott Linzer is a seasoned leader in the advertising and technology industries, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a career spanning executive roles at top ad agencies, he has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable brands. More recently, he has led tech and adtech startups, driving innovation and growth. Outside of work, Scott is a private pilot and an avid road biker, often competing in races and pushing the limits of endurance and strategy.

Head of flight operations
Aaron Larsen is the Chief Pilot and Head of Flight Operations at Skyworx Drone Shows, leading the execution of awe-inspiring drone displays across the nation. A combat-proven U.S. Air Force pilot with over 20 years of aviation experience, Aaron has flown missions worldwide and accumulated more than 3,000 flight hours. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a Master of Science in Safety & Operations Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Before joining Skyworx, Aaron held leadership roles at Amazon, Columbia Helicopters, Rockwell Collins, and the FAA, where he built and scaled safety programs for complex aviation operations. His extensive experience and dedication to flight safety have been instrumental in the successful delivery of Skyworx’s most high-profile shows, including events for Six Flags, EDC, and Netflix.
Aaron’s unique blend of military discipline, corporate leadership, and operational expertise ensures Skyworx continues to set the standard in the drone show industry. From concept to execution, he’s committed to delivering world-class experiences that light up the sky and leave lasting impressions.
