At the close of CES 2026, one of the world’s most influential technology events, Skyworx Drone Shows delivered a landmark hourly aerial spectacle as 1,200 drones illuminated the Las Vegas night sky marking one of the most operationally efficient large-scale drone light show deployments ever executed in the United States.
Over a compressed performance window, a six-person core Skyworx operations team successfully executed four full-scale drone performances in a three-hour window, establishing a new benchmark for operational efficiency in U.S.-based drone light shows.
The project was jointly delivered by operator and fleet owner Skyworx Drone Shows and drone manufacturer DAMODA, combining Skyworx’s U.S. operational leadership and airspace expertise with advanced automation, intelligent swarm control systems, and precision positioning technology. These capabilities enabled safe, stable, and repeatable performances in a complex urban environment while operating fully within U.S. airspace regulations.
Completing multiple full-scale shows at this magnitude and speed with such a lean crew reflects a broader evolution in the drone entertainment industry, shifting away from labor-intensive, one-off productions toward standardized, scalable, and rapidly repeatable drone show systems.
